Tomoji Tanabe Turns 113 Years Old - World’s Oldest Man

Tomoji Tanabe Turns 113 years old today on Thursday September 18, 2008. Yes that means he was alive in the 1800’s, an amazing feet. Tanabe declared that he wants to live for another 10 years.
Tomoji Tanabe was born on September 18th 1895 in the town of Miyakonojo, which is on Japan’s southern island of Kyushu. He said that a healthy diet, a drink of milk every afternoon, and an abstinence from alchohol as some factors that allow him to turn 113 years old.
Having 100 decendants in his family, Tomoji Tanabe has 8 children, 25 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and an astonishing 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Tanabe is the world’s oldest man and the oldest woman is 115 year old American Edna Parker, who was born in 1893.
