Bam Margera’s Restaurant The Note

September 19 2008

The Note in West Chester Pennsylvania is the newest entertainment venue and opened it’s doors last weekend for the first time.

This has been much anticipated as it was first brought up to the community about 2 years ago.  There was struggles whether it was going to be a legitamite business or just another one of Bam’s fun houses.

Bam had to convince and show that The Note was going to be real concert venue showcasing real bands.  That they did, yes it did take longer than expected but it happened.  They plan to host locals bands and also national bands at the same time.

It has a red velvet stage, Bam Margera’s The Note sports a gothic type vibe with brick and beams and even wooden pieces from churches in Coatesville and New Orleans.  It sports a dramatic look that many will love.

They opened their doors last Saturday Night September 13th to a packed house.  Childers the manager of the bar/venue cenetr had this to say:

“The borough had concerns about putting a bar in this section of town. We just had to show them we’re serious about being a performance venue.”

Upcoming guests include the likes of The Blue Method and Dialects on September 19th.  This looks to be a serious venue displaying very good music, that many in the local community will appreciate.

This place is AWESOME! My kids just did a show there with the Paul Green School of Rock. Everyone there was so nice. The food was fantastic. They even serve veggie burgers in several varieties. And their nachos are the best I’ve ever had; I’m not usually a fan of nachos either.
My husband and I also saw the Peek-a-boo review the same night as our kids’ show. That was a lot of fun. The place was packed, but the servers were hopping to take care of everyone. One small thing though, they should have had more tables in front of the stage and not let people but in front of those who came there early to get a table up front.
Overall, I think this place will do well, and look forward to seeing more shows there.
